Rev. Patrick O’Connor (989) 835-7121 ext 34 Bio Fr. Pat is a native of the Diocese of Saginaw, born in Bay City. He is a product of Catholic Eductation, St. Valentine Grade School and St. Joseph High School and a member of the first graduating class of All Saints High School. His undergraduate work was done at the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, MN while attending St. John Vianney College Seminary, where he received his Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology. His graduate work was done at St. John’s Provincial Seminary in Plymouth, MI where he received his Master of Divinity Degree. He was ordained to the priesthood May 7, 1978 at Sacred Heart Parish in Mt. Pleasant, MI, serving three parishes in the Diocese of Saginaw as an associate pastor. He became the pastor of St. John the Evangelist, Ubly and St. Columbkille, Sheridan Corners in July of 1983. He has served three parishes in the Tri City area: Holy Trinity, Bay City; St. Stephen, Saginaw and St. John the Evangelist, Essexville. He has been involved in a number of church and community organizations and is presently a member of the Diocesan Building Commission and Associate Director of Liturgy for the Diocese of Saginaw. His outside interests take advantage of this beautiful state and its natural resources: golfing, power boating and downhill skiing. |
| Nadine Yarger (989) 835-7121 ext 36 Bio Nadine is originally from Merrill, MI. She moved to the Midland area as a young adult. It was in Midland that she married her husband (now deceased) and had two children, Jesus and Nicole(Jason) Hendrick. She is currently married to Jim Yarger, who brought to the family four more children. Besides the six children, they now have eight grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Nadine has been with Saint Brigid since December of 2007. Prior to that she worked as Payroll Administrator/Human Resource Generalist for the Greater Midland Community Centers, Inc. She graduated with an Associates Degree in Accounting, minoring in Computer Information Systems and has worked in the accounting field for 24 years. Throughout that time Nadine obtained her Income Tax Certification and her Entrepreneurial Certification and currently owns and operates, with her husband, a property management LLC and continues to prepare income tax returns during tax season. In her spare time Nadine enjoys spending time with her children and her three little dogs. |

Maureen Becker (989) 835-9481 ext 49 Bio Maureen is originally from Yankton, South Dakota. She received her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of South Dakota in Elementary Education with minors in Library Science and Early Childhood Education. Mark and Maureen moved to Midland in 1983. Mark & Maureen are the parents of Matt (Emily), Eric (Erica) and Jonathan. She started teaching at Saint Brigid Catholic School in the fall of 1990 as the fourth grade teacher and continued teaching full time until 1999. She became a part time teacher, teaching the Junior Science program and the school librarian. In 2002, she received the American Chemical Society’s Award for “Outstanding Achievement in Elementary Level Science Education”. She has been Principal since 2004. She currently sits on the Education Formation Commission, School Committee and PTO. Maureen and her family have been actively involved in Saint Brigid Parish in many ways through the years. Currently, she is a lector and Eucharistic Minister. Saint Brigid Catholic School is a sparkling reminder of the parish’s life blood—its children. |

Anne Marie Graham (989) 835-8831 ext 53 Bio Born in Liverpool, England, Anne Marie completed a Bachelors degree in Theology and her post graduate teaching certification in Religious Education and taught in Catholic schools. Anne Marie and her family, husband Stephen and 3 children, have been members of Saint Brigid parish since arriving in Midland, via Belgium, in 1995.Currently completing her Masters degree in Religious Studies, she is a commissioned Lay Minister for the diocese of Saginaw and is fully involved in the liturgical and social life of the parish. Her role as Director of Faith Formation includes the RCIA, adult faith formation and sacramental preparation. |

Paula Dachsteiner (989) 835-8831 ext 50 Bio Paula Dachsteiner has served in Youth Ministry at Saint Brigid Church for almost 15 years. Currently she is the Coordinator of Youth and Young Adult Ministry. Paula has a two-year certification in Youth Ministry and a four year certification in Theology through Siena Heights University. She is also involved with the Midland Area Catholic Youth ministry and serves on the Youth Advisory Board for the Diocese of Saginaw. Paula is a life-time member of Saint Brigid Parish. She and her husband Scott, have four children, two grand children and reside in Midland. |

Mary Ann Howard (989) 835-7121 ext 37 Bio As Coordinator of Liturgical Preparation Mary Ann designs the Worship Aids for all liturgies, including funerals and weddings. This includes finding the materials, scanning in music when needed, placing the appropriate graphics and reporting all copyright information to licensing companies. Mary Ann has been an employee of Saint Brigid for three years in this capacity. For four years she has been a mentor for the school children who cantor at the school masses, working with and helping students prepare for any service they will be involved in. She has been a member of Saint Brigid Parish for 38 years. She is also a charter member of Saint Catherine’s Guild and has been a choir member for 21 years and a cantor for 19 years. Mary Ann is a staff liason for the Worship and Spiritual Life Commission and loves working with the Art and Environment Committee. |

Fran Thiel (989) 835-7121 ext 56 Bio Fran Thiel’s primary responsibility is to produce a comprehensive ministry schedule for all liturgical functions at Saint Brigid Parish. This involves approximately 80 people per week. She also prepares the Presider Books for the Liturgies and maintain an inventory of the items needed (hosts, wine candles, etc.) for the liturgies. She is presently a staff liason for the Worship and Spiritual Life Commission and has been or is involved with several ministries including lectoring, Eucharistic Minister, funeral lunches, counting money, helping with baptisms and wedding rehearsals. She is currently finishing the four year Lay Ministry Program and will be commissioned in September. |
